South West Hygiene are proud to announce that we are official Toilet and Hygiene Sponsor of ‘Devon and Cornwall Backyard Ultra Event’ on Friday 2nd September- Sunday 4th September 2022.
It’s the newest craze in running which is sweeping the globe – Backyard.
You run a 4.1 mile circuit, setting off on the hour, every hour. You must be back before the hour is up, and can go as fast or as slow as you like, providing you are ready to set off on another circuit at the start of the next hour.
You set your target – or you know your limit. You could do a half marathon, a full marathon, 50 miles, 100 miles, or an unlimited ultra marathon run where you just see how many circuits you can do.
The event, at Newnham Park, in Plympton, near Plymouth, is being held on the weekend of September 2, 3 and 4.
All proceeds from the event will be going to Bowel Cancer Trust.
