We’re delighted to announce that we’ve joined the global movement and have been certified as a Period Positive Workplace. Meaning we now provide free period products in all our company premises. To be certified as a Period Positive Workplace we are:
- Providing free period products in our washrooms
- Meeting washroom facility standards including providing a toilet in a well-lit, well-ventilated, safe area with a locking mechanism; hand-washing facility that includes clean water and soap or sanitiser; toilet paper; and a waste bin
- Informing all our employees via a formal notice that period products are and will continue to be provided.
In the mission to advance menstrual health,Days for Girls, The Policy Project, Share the Dignity, Population Services International Europe, The Pad Project, and The Toilet Board Coalition partnered to create the Period Positive Workplace initiative in 2023 to help organisations around the world support menstrual health at work.
We are now getting products in place and posters displayed across our Head Office and depots so that our staff and visitors know that they can help themselves to period products.
