Here at South West Hygiene we’ve made a great start in 2025 in continuing to reduce our plastic waste.
Adam Saunders who manages our stores from our Liskeard Service Centre and Sam from AUK Hygiene (Windmill Refill – AUK Hygiene) have organised a wash and refill process for our empty soap containers. This means:
· We are eliminating single-use plastics with refillable 10L containers which can be refilled time and time again with no requirement for outer packaging.
· Reducing on-site waste and the volume of plastic going into landfill.
With over 200 containers used last year alone, we will be making a significant reduction on plastic going to waste.
