It is with extreme sadness that we can announce Jan Wilton our Finance Director and Company Secretary has decided after 26 years with South West Hygiene, that she will retire this month.
Jan began her career in accountancy before setting up an office services business, which she ran until joining an international oil company to develop and set up office management systems. After returning to the UK, her freelance consultancy services initially led her to our company, where she has been an integral part since the beginning. Jan has successfully navigated the businesses finances through a large amount of financial process and change over the years ensuring the systems can grow with the business. Jan remains involved with some local charities and, being an environmental enthusiast, has been a driving force in South West Hygiene achieving its ISO14001 accreditation and working towards being carbon neutral.
Jan is looking forward to taking a step back, leaving the business in a fantastic position and enjoying some time with her cats and resuming sketching and birdwatching. She will be hugely missed by all of the team and by anyone who has worked with her. Please join us in thanking Jan for all of her hard work and dedication to South West Hygiene, without her we wouldn’t be where we are today.
